Job Description

Position :Informatica Architect with MDM experience
Location: Herndon, VA
Duration :Contract-long-term & Full time                


Required Skills:
•    Strong hands on Informatica 9.x/9.5/9.6 experience in architecting, engineering, performance/capacity engg, deployment standards in production, product integration, product support, overall fitment(product usage), sizing and setting up Informatica Environments.
•    Experience with integrating metadata, etl processes and testing environments.
•    Hands-on experience in platform configuration, code development, best practices, design patterns and use cases of MDM, Data Virtualization, Data Services, Proactive Monitoring, Data Exchange, Data transformation, Persistent data masking, Test data management, Power exchange and Power Center.
•    Hands-on experience in configuration, design and development of large scale ETL and Enterprise Data Warehouse applications.
•    Hands-on Informatica process Automation experience using Perl and unix shell scripting.
•    Experience with XML, Web service development
•    Strong understanding of Oracle database, SQL optimization, SOA concepts, design patterns, tools, techniques and best practices.
•    Strong ability to understand, document and communicate technical architectures, best practices, toolsets and solutions.
•    Candidates should have experience with production support.
•    ESB's such as MQ/JMS or Tibco EMS are nice to have skills.
•    Familiarity with Informatica Connectors, Core DW infrastructure and experience with appliance such as Teradata, Netezza and Exadata would be a big plus.
