Position : ServiceNow developer -Lead

Location : downtown Dallas, TX

Duration : 6 months


Job Description:

  • Lead Developer/Service

  • Now This person will need to be able to lead and direct a small team of developers/coders on ServiceNow (ServiceNow is a ticket tracking tool that competes with Remedy).

  • This person will need to understand how ServiceNow integrates into other tools and how it works and how it basically speaks with each other.

  • They will need knowledge of Remedy and how their current system is set up to better build the ServiceNow product.

  • They will need to know how to code and give some guidance to others on the team (which they have not identified the team yet, so they don’t know how big it will be).

  • Depending how the project goes, they may also have to build a user interface. 

  • The duration is 6 months right now.

  • This could be extended down the line, depending how the project goes. 

  • EFH is migrating from Remedy to ServiceNow.

  • The project is entirely being executed and managed by our outsourcer, HCL. However, we need a resource to act in EFH’s best interests to review our processes, procedures and methodology and ensure that the joint HCL-ServiceNow “Gold Blue Print” that HCL is delivering will meet our needs after installation. 

  • The resource needs to be a self-starter, that after learning the basics of our processes will be able to field questions from HCL on design and implementation while eliminating any ‘bureaucratic bloat’ and focusing on lean processes.

The candidate must be experienced in ServiceNow and at least three of the following: 

  • change, problem, asset, incident and service management with an ITIL focus.

  • The ideal candidate will be a ServiceNow expert with the ability to code and modify workflows and UI. The contractor will report to an internal EFH resource.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must have extensive experience and knowledge of ServiceNow

  • Must have management experience

  • Must have knowledge of Remedy

  • Must know how to code

  • Minimum high school diploma/GED, bachelor's highly preferred
