Job Description:

HMD Trucking Inc. is looking for a Safety Assistant who wants to contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and be part of an industry leading organization that consistently sets new standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Log Audit: Record review of hours for accuracy and completeness (Log checks with registered data, such as GPS, BOL, Fuel, Inspections, etc.)
• Responding to the calls regarding the Log Issues
• Permits
• Responding to the Accident calls
• Guiding the driver through all the necessary steps
• Collecting all the data
• Creating the accident report
• Getting the accident videos from Netradyne
• Locating the DOT certified clinic and sending the driver for post-accident drug and alcohol test if required
• Coaching the Drivers for HOS

Experience and desired skills:

• Proficient in spoken and written ENGLISH (must)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work effectively both as a Team member and independently
• Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality results
• Past work experience that is relevant is a plus
