Position Overview

HMD Transport is currently seeking a highly motivated Carrier Sales
Representative to join our brokerage team in Skopje.
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in building and
managing carrier relationships, sourcing capacity, negotiating rates, and
supporting the movement of freight across North America. This position is ideal
for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys negotiation and
problem-solving, and is eager to grow within the transportation industry.

What Kind of Candidate Are We Looking For?

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in the U.S. trucking industry as a Broker or Dispatcher
• Strong understanding of U.S. geography, transportation networks, and market dynamics
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, motivated, and solution-oriented individual

Key Responsibilities

• Source and book freight with carrier companies while negotiating competitive market rates
• Collaborate with Customer Sales Representatives to provide accurate and competitive pricing to customers
• Monitor and analyze market trends, seasonality, and capacity conditions
• Build and grow a strong carrier network through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals
• Develop and maintain long-term strategic carrier and broker relationships
• Ensure all freight documentation is properly completed and approved prior to shipment
• Support shipment tracking and tracing alongside operations team members
• Work collaboratively across departments to ensure high-quality customer service and operational execution
