Job Description

Ø Structuring and delivery of Azure engagements that may include:

Ø Conducting cloud assessments to determine appropriate cloud uses case to leverage AZURE and determine what applications and workloads to move to AZURE

Ø Based on cloud use case and/or applications/workloads to move to AZURE, define and design appropriate to-be application, platform, and hosting architectures in AZURE

Ø Designing AZURE architecture that meets key non functional requirements (security, compliance, performance, resiliency, and availability) and needed services

Ø Migration of assets (workloads/applications) and capabilities (e.g. DR, archiving/backup) to AZURE

Ø Utilizing AZURE services (e.g. Azure Pack, Web App PaaS, Resource Manager, etc.) to implement desired cloud operating model to enable Environment-as-a-Service and DevOps capabilities

Ø Implementation of appropriate security patterns utilizing AZURE capabilities

Ø Guide Capgemini consultants and teams on how to structure and deliver AZURE engagements; lead capturing and sharing of reusable content/IP (e.g. AZURE reference architecture, AZURE security patterns, etc.)

Ø Has at least 2 years of hands-on experience in planning, designing and implementing IT capabilities and migrating workloads/applications to AZURE

Ø Certified as an AZURE Solution Architect; also preferred – AZURE certifications in security, big data

Ø Working knowledge and understanding of AZURE platform and its services

Ø Has 5 or more years of experience in IT and/or software development including roles as an enterprise architect, application architecture or infrastructure architecture

Ø Implementation experience with distributed applications; working knowledge of software development, DevOps tools and methodologies

Ø 5+ years of experience in networking; infrastructure or database architecture

Ø Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers

Ø Technical degree required; Computer Science desired

Ø Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Ø Excellent communication and project management skills; adept at managing stakeholders at all level

Ø Excellent organizational skill and ability to juggle multiple demands without missing deadlines

Ø Strong teambuilding skills and teamwork orientation

Ø Strong creative problem-solving skills

Ø Strong understanding of risk management techniques and ability to develop appropriate contingency plans

Qualifications

60% Travel Position. Only Full Time.
