Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a client's paid search and social initiatives. This includes developing strategy and managing the execution of search and social marketing campaigns based on the client's business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and manage search, social, and display marketing campaigns for Fortune 1000 clientsÂ
- Create, manage and execute strategic search and social marketing plans that meet client goalsÂ
- Define a campaign strategy and deliverables plan that exceeds client expectationsÂ
- Create, present and gain client approval on insertion orders, campaign strategies and tacticsÂ
- Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processesÂ
- Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communicationsÂ
- Forecast, generate and maximize revenue opportunities with clientsÂ
- Monitor, track, evaluate and optimize campaign performance to maximize client investmentÂ
- Scope and develop new business with companies looking to meet their marketing goals using search marketingÂ
- Cross-functional campaign development with internal SEO teams as well as sister media agenciesÂ
Secondary Responsibilities
- Build on an existing level of paid search and social expertise, and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiencyÂ
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing as well as consumer behavior to recommend improvements to accountsÂ
- Aid in creation of new business presentations, POVs, best practices and key process documentationÂ
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of paid search or paid social experienceÂ
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant college certificateÂ
- Major account/client management skills and complex paid search/digital/social campaigns; multi-level sales/selling into accountsÂ
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple accountsÂ
- Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-faceÂ
- Experience using search advertising platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads)Â
- Experience using social biddable platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)Â
- Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture)Â
- Experience with Bid Management tools (DoubleClick, Marin & Searchlight)Â
- Experience with biddable social API’s (SHIFT, Kenshoo, Marin, Unified, Sprout Social)Â
- High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPointÂ
- Technical and analytical mindsetÂ
- Google Certification is an assetÂ
- French language skills are an asset
