Gerhart is looking for
Field Service Technicians with experience in industrial weighing equipment and/or mechanical background. This is your chance to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career while getting rewarded for your expertise.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform thorough on-site calibrations of weighing and material handling systems
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
- Ability to mechanically troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose malfunctions and repair weighing equipment
- Interact in a professional manner with customers. Review and communicate your scheduled task, call status, and service reports with the customer and Team Leader
What You Bring:
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- General mechanical or electrical background
- Customer-focused mindset and a self-starter attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, dust, and dirt)
- Familiarity with industrial service tools; welding experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of 120VAC/DC wiring
- Strength, stamina, and willingness to bend, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Maintain valid Drivers license and safe driving record
- CDL preferred
