Job Description
- This position is responsible for providing a full range of drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
- May coordinate drafting activities.
- Produce complete plans from verbal or written descriptions from responsible registered professional. Apply formulas, principles and practices.
- Demonstrates ability to exercise independent design decisions.
- Position demonstrates moderate to high level of knowledge of assigned and related disciplines.
- Effectively use one or more discipline related software packages required to perform assignments. Successfully correspond with clients or outside personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field.
- Minimum eight years of related progress detailing and design experience.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Previous related consulting experience preferred.
- Maintain CAD proficiency and master current CAD systems.
- Effectively use multiple application packages where necessary including advanced level commands.
- Shows understanding of advanced applications development and use.
- Field experience is desirable.
