Job Description
Assist K-5 teachers with instruction, supervision of students, and preparation for class.
Job duties include:
- Assisting with remediation instruction
- Preparation of materials
- Supervision of students in classroom and at recess when necessary
- Guiding students in activities
- Performing related tasks as assigned
Desirable Specialties:
- Experience in schools subject to parental choice
- Experience with project-based learning
- Experience in special education
Salary: $16/hr
Hours: Either full or half day

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in math and reading demonstrated by at least one of the following:
- one or more years of documented experience as an instructional aide
- two years or more of college education
- one or more years of relevant career experience within the last three years
- Good teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching and learning styles.
- Experience working with youth
