Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

About the Role

RPMGlobal (RPM) is seeking Software Engineers with 5+ years of experience in C# development to join our development team. This is a permanent full-time role based in our Brisbane CBD headquarters. This position is in-office; however, it allows for ad hoc working from home.

Our Enterprise team builds the core services, integration layers, and shared platform infrastructure that power RPM's suite of market-leading enterprise solutions. Working across the full platform, the team designs and delivers common services and foundational capabilities that enable RPM's domain-specific applications to perform at scale for mining professionals globally.

This is an opportunity for a smart, innovative, self-motivated Software Engineer to join a team of like-minded people who develop world-class software using a practical, agile-based modern development methodology certified to ISO 9001.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, robust software solutions
• Perform analysis, testing, debugging, and performance tuning
• Contribute to technical documentation and provide ongoing product support
• Ensure code meets quality standards and aligns with corporate objectives

About you

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET
• Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrated experience building cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platform services
• A collaborative mindset and approach to working in a team environment
• Strong command of the English language in both verbal and written form
• Must have the legal right to work in Australia

Highly Regarded Experience

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs using Azure Functions or Azure App Services in a multi-service architecture
• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core and SQL Server data access patterns
• Experience with Blazor for building browser-based applications
• Familiarity with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD, including build, test, and deployment automation
