The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing the company’s most important client accounts. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, or in a senior sales role
- Strong passion for the beauty/makeup industry and ability to stay current with product trends and innovations
- Demonstrated experience managing high-value or strategic client accounts
- Strong background in customer service and relationship management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Strategic, goal-driven mindset with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex client needs
- Must own a reliable vehicle
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
- Build long-term, strategic partnerships to drive account retention and growth
- Develop and execute account plans to maximize revenue and expand product penetration
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing key accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery
- Oversee and follow up on account-related documentation, including orders, invoices, and agreements
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess performance, satisfaction, and future opportunities
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues efficiently; escalate when necessary
- Monitor account performance, sales trends, and potential risks
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on key account status, sales performance, and growth opportunities
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to better advise clients
