Overview

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing the company’s most important client accounts. This role focuses on building long-term, strategic partnerships, maximizing account value, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The Key Account Manager works closely with internal teams to deliver customized solutions, identify growth opportunities, and drive sustained revenue from key clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, or in a senior sales role
  • Strong passion for the beauty/makeup industry and ability to stay current with product trends and innovations
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-value or strategic client accounts
  • Strong background in customer service and relationship management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Strategic, goal-driven mindset with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex client needs
  • Must own a reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Build long-term, strategic partnerships to drive account retention and growth
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximize revenue and expand product penetration
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing key accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Oversee and follow up on account-related documentation, including orders, invoices, and agreements
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess performance, satisfaction, and future opportunities
  • Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues efficiently; escalate when necessary
  • Monitor account performance, sales trends, and potential risks
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on key account status, sales performance, and growth opportunities
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to better advise clients
