About this role

The Company

Our client is a fast-growing D2C longevity/wellness startup. Their founding team came together around a shared commitment: to enable everyday people to access clean, high quality supplements with transparent ingredients based on the latest scientific insights in rapidly growing field of longevity.

Our client takes great care in selecting only high quality ingredients from reputable sources and in a rare move for the supplement industry transparently publishes the supplier of each ingredient used on its website. All supplements are also double tested for purity and against contamination in an independent 3d party lab.

The Role

Our client is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated Performance Marketing Manager to be the architect of their digital marketing in China. Reporting directly to the Head of China Business, you'll operate within a highly lean, fast-moving global structure with the autonomy to build, own, and scale their performance marketing capabilities.

The science of longevity is a global revolution, and our client is looking for a pioneering Performance Marketing Manager to drive their digital expansion in China. By building and optimizing our growth engine across China, you will directly empower millions to take control of their healthspan and age on their own terms.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute a robust in-house performance marketing strategy across major Chinese platforms (Douyin, RedNote, Tmall, JD.com), managing the channel mix across paid ads, KOL partnerships, and livestreaming.
  • Ensure our scientific messaging translates flawlessly and resonates deeply across all localized touchpoints, to preserve our client’s premium Swiss positioning.
  • Collaborate with our local Trading Partner for operational smoothness, inventory alignment, and high-impact execution during major campaign cycles (e.g. 6.18 and 11.11 campaigns).
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify emerging consumer trends, monitor competitor activities, and unlock new insights for optimization in the Chinese market.
  • Continuously analyze campaign performance, customer acquisition costs, and performance marketing funnel metrics to optimize ROI and scale growth efficiently.

Our client is looking for a proactive self-starter who blends analytical rigor with deep cultural market insight.

  • Based in China and able to work in office 2-3 days per week.
  • You possess deep, hands-on expertise in China's digital ecosystem, including ads management, livestreaming strategies, and influencer networks on Douyin, RedNote, Tmall, and JD.com.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with strong analytical background.
  • 2-5 years of high-impact performance marketing experience, ideally within a fast-growing D2C brand, e-commerce, or health-tech startup.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English is a must to bridge our global and local operations effectively.
  • Data-driven mindset and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to model, track, and optimize complex campaign metrics.
  • You are proactive, highly independent, and thrive in a startup environment where you can identify opportunities and take ownership without waiting for a playbook.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and longevity (or the eagerness to dive deep into the field).

Our client believes the best companies help you become the person you want to be by promoting personal freedom and growth.

  • High Impact: Work at a well-funded, early-stage startup with a high degree of personal responsibility and creative freedom.
  • Elite Collaboration: Partner with world-class longevity researchers and successful serial entrepreneurs.
  • Radical Flexibility: Fully remote roles with home office support, flexible hours, and unlimited holidays.
  • Growth & Culture: Education allowances, accelerated growth paths, and a vibrant team culture including regular off-sites.
  • Perks: Complimentary longevity products and discounts for your inner circle.
