Job Summary: The MACC Cafe Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position involves interacting with customers, handling cash transactions, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on menu items. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Beverage and Food Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Assist in the preparation of food items.
- Cash Handling:
Operate the cash register, handle financial transactions accurately, and maintain records of sales.
- Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management:
Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive work environment.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow operational procedures and standards for beverage preparation, customer service, and store cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
Working Conditions:
