Overview
We are looking for a data-driven and creative Email Marketing Expert to plan, execute, and optimize high-performing email campaigns. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue through strategic email marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns (promotional, lifecycle, retention, and transactional)
- Develop and manage email automation flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.)
- Segment audiences based on behavior, demographics, and lifecycle stage
- Write compelling email copy and collaborate with designers for high-converting creatives
- Optimize campaigns through A/B testing (subject lines, creatives, CTAs, timing)
- Monitor and analyze KPIs such as open rates, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue per email
- Ensure email deliverability and maintain list hygiene (bounce handling, spam compliance)
- Integrate email marketing with other channels (SMS, paid ads, CRM)
- Maintain compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in email marketing (preferably eCommerce or DTC brands)
- Hands-on experience with tools like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Hub-spot
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle and retention marketing
- Experience with email automation and segmentation strategies
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email customization
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
- Excellent copy writing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with A/B testing and CRO strategies
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data platforms
- Experience in SMS marketing platforms
- Understanding of attribution and multi-channel marketing
