International manufacturing company within the automotive sector is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the overall operations of its production facility, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term profitability.
This role will be responsible for overseeing all plant functions, driving operational performance, and ensuring alignment with the company’s global strategy while leading multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience managing automotive plants or large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Proven experience managing plant financial performance and full P&L responsibility.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Solid analytical capabilities and cross-functional leadership experience.
- Languages: Advanced English and Spanish required; German is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall plant strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Develop and execute the annual business plan and the plant’s three-year strategic plan.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting commitments related to delivery, quantity, and quality.
- Manage the plant’s financial performance and P&L, ensuring profitability and budget compliance.
- Oversee key departments including Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, HR, IT, and Development.
- Develop and implement monthly and annual production plans aligned with customer demand and operational capacity.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as new product launches, ramp-ups, and ramp-downs.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Build and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
