Reports to: The Rides Guest Services Assistant will report to the Rides Guest Services Manager.
Location: Niseko
Term: Immediate start - 31st March 2027
Compensation: From ¥1,800 per hour
Position Summary
Our Rides Guest Services team is key to providing our guests with an epic experience; the team listens to the customer's needs and goals and utilises their deep product knowledge to recommend the best on mountain experience. They are responsible for and assist the team in communicating guest goals and lesson logistics, as well as receiving and resolving customer feedback.
This is a year-round opportunity ideal for someone who is looking to base themselves in Niseko and is enthusiastic about growing their knowledge of the snowports industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process summer and winter lesson enquiries received via email, phone, and our booking system.
- Summer pre-bookings: Assist and advise customers on the best cycling, MTB, and skate experiences, matching our lesson and guiding offerings to their specific goals and ability levels.
- Winter pre-bookings: Assist and advise customers on their ideal on-mountain experience, specialising in pre-bookings for our private ski/board lessons, kids programs and backcountry guiding experiences.
- Proactively listen to, communicate and resolve customer feedback and where needed raise with a supervisor.
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our products and services, actively listening to our guest's needs and completing all booking processes accurately.
- Collaborate with the operations team to deliver a successful line-up, ensuring all lessons begin on time and as expected.
- Professionally liaise with our booking partners in the resort to ensure our shared guests enjoy a seamless experience.
- Assist the Rides Team with daily administrative tasks.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful as a Rides Guest Services team member you must be able to work with minimal supervision under pressure and have strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer service comes naturally, you’re comfortable making informed recommendations and have a solid understanding of skiing and snowboarding progression, allowing you to confidently coordinate the best experiences for our customers.
Effective collaboration and attention to detail are always present alongside proficiency with Google Workspace.
Good knowledge of the local Niseko area is a bonus!
