Position Title: Rental Warehouse Storeperson
Location: Niseko, Japan 

Reports to: Rental Warehouse Manager
Contract Term: Exact dates TBC - October/November, 2026 - April 2027
Salary: ¥2,200 per hour starting

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor assists in leading the daily operations of the Rhythm Hakuba warehouse. They will ensure efficient management of rental inventory, replenishing rental stores, ensuring smooth rental processes, and extending a high level of customer satisfaction. They will also ensure efficient management of retail inventory and replenishing retail stock in all stores. This role involves assisting in supervising staff, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the rental and retail warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing equipment.
• Supervise warehouse staff, providing direction, motivating and training
• Ensure that all ski and snowboard rental equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored.
• Assist the development and implementation of an efficient inventory management system to track equipment availability and condition.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager, the rental teams, the workshop to retrieve and replenish inventory as needed.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of equipment rentals, returns, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security standards, maintaining a safe working environment for staff.
• Ensure that the warehouse is kept to a satisfactory level of cleanliness and organization

What you need to succeed:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, preferably in a ski rental or outdoor recreation environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ski & snowboard equipment and fitting procedures.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations a plus 
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
