Moncler Sales Assistant - Part-time (Winter)

Job Description 

Location: Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan

Dates:  December 2026 - February 2027 

Hours: Core working hours: 3 to 6 hours per shift between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM

Salary:  ¥1,700 per hour, starting

Reports to: Moncler Store Manager

Moncler Niseko is one of only three stores in the world dedicated exclusively to the Grenoble collection.

The Role: 

As a part-time Sales Assistant at Moncler Niseko, you will act as a brand ambassador, delivering a personalised luxury client experience while contributing to both individual and boutique sales performance.
With strong product knowledge of the Moncler Grenoble collection, you will provide expert styling advice and build long-term relationships with clients, including VIP and VIC customers. You will support daily boutique operations, including sales, stock management, and maintaining visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines. This role offers exposure to broader retail operations, including inventory control and business operations, with clear opportunities to progress into supervisory and management positions based on performance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Sales & Client Experience

• Deliver exceptional client service in line with Moncler’s luxury standards
• Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets
• Drive key KPIs through effective selling techniques
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including VIP/VIC customers

Client Relationship Management (CRM)

• Utilize CRM tools to capture client data and drive repeat business
• Support client outreach and in-store events

Store Operations

• Support daily store operations, including stock management and replenishment
• Ensure accuracy in inventory handling and assist with stock takes
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Visual Merchandising

• Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing

Team Contribution & Development

• Collaborate with team members to maintain a high-performance environment
• Participate in training and continuously develop product knowledge and selling skills
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience (experience in luxury or premium fashion is preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid business acumen with the ability to drive results
• Basic knowledge or experience with CRM tools is a plus
  
  

What you need to succeed:

• Fluency in at least two of the following languages: English, Japanese, or Chinese (including reading and writing)
  
• A passion and interest in the Fashion industry 
• Basic PC literacy, with the ability to create basic planning materials and independently execute projects
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Ability to work accurately and collaboratively
