The Regulatory Reporting Financial Specialist prepares and submits regulatory filings in compliance with credit union regulations, policies, and accounting standards. This role also supports budgeting for the credit union and its subsidiaries and prepares the quarterly NCUA Call Report.

 What You'll Do:

  • Lead quarterly NCUA Call Reports, financial performance reporting, and required Federal Home Loan Bank and Federal Reserve submissions.
  • Manage IRS Form 945, state tax withholdings, property tax filings, and CUSO tax and registry requirements.
  • Conduct variance and trend analyses and support annual budget and capital planning with actionable financial insights.
  • Resolve complex reporting issues and respond to ad hoc financial and regulatory requests.
  • Maintain key systems, including the lease database, MERIT, and investment broker compliance records.
  • Monitor financial and regulatory changes and advise leadership on necessary updates.
  • Improve accounting workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Support the AVP–Finance with special projects and strategic initiatives.

 

The base range for this position is $75,000/yr. - $95,000/yr. based on experience, plus incentives. Must be willing to occasionally work a flexible work schedule to meet important deadlines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, or a similar role. Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools is strongly desired.
