Job Title: Public Areas Attendant
Reports To: Manager on Duty
As a Public Areas Attendant, you will take pride in keeping high‑traffic areas clean, fresh, and well presented throughout the morning. Your work will ensure that our guests experience a safe, tidy, and comfortable environment from the moment they arrive.
This position involves morning shifts from 7:00am to 12:00pm, five days per week, with weekend availability required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning of all public bathrooms, ensuring they are hygienic, well‑stocked, and presented to a high standard at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of hallways, corridors, entrances, and communal areas, paying close attention to detail
- Clean and prepare bar and lounge areas ahead of service, including floors, furniture, and high‑touch surfaces
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, towels, and sanitiser throughout the shift
- Empty bins regularly and dispose of waste correctly in line with cleanliness and recycling procedures
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the relevant department
- Support deep‑cleaning tasks during quieter periods, including spot cleaning, polishing, and detail work
- Assist with ad hoc duties as required, supporting the housekeeping or duty management team
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently and independently while contributing positively to the wider team environment
Candidate Requirements:
- A reliable and punctual individual who enjoys early morning work
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces
- Ability to work independently while also supporting the wider team
- A positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is an advantage, but not essential
