Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to support nursing and medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will assist with clinical procedures, patient monitoring, and daily living activities while maintaining confidentiality and promoting a safe, caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with exams and procedures
- Record vital signs and patient information accurately
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain cleanliness, supplies, and equipment in exam and patient rooms
- Support patient mobility, hygiene, feeding, and comfort needs
- Uphold infection control and quality care standards
- Foster teamwork and effective communication within the healthcare team
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Enrolled Nursing from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) CXC passes, including English Language and Mathematics
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic Life Support/ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support skills
- Excellent and empathetic bedside manner
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Must be computer proficient
