Job responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive IT audits across various banking operations within the region to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and processes, identifying areas of risk and recommending improvements.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure alignment of audit practices and standards.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to enhance audit practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior auditors and contribute to their professional development.

Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001.
- Proficiency in auditing tools and techniques, with a solid understanding of risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Able to commit up to 30% regional traveling for work.
