What you’ll actually be doing
If you’re hands-on with PLCs, control panels, wiring, and on-site commissioning, this role will feel familiar.
We’re looking for a Field Engineer to support on-site installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of industrial automation systems.
You’ll be working directly on-site to:
• Wire up and check PLC panels, sensors, and field devices
• Perform I/O testing and signal checks
• Support SAT and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot issues during system setup and go-live
• Make sure systems are running correctly before handover
What kind of experience fits
This is for you if you’ve done work like:
• PLC-based installation, testing, or commissioning
• Field service / machine setup / production line support
• Electrical troubleshooting (wiring, sensors, control panels)
• Working with PLC systems like Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Schneider
• Reading electrical drawings / schematics on-site
Exposure to automation, robotics, AGV/AMR, or warehouse systems is a plus.
Requirements
• Diploma in Electrical / Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 2+ years hands-on field or automation experience
• Comfortable working on-site and troubleshooting under real conditions
• Applicants must have valid authorisation to work in Singapore
Work setup
• On-site role (CBD base + client sites)
• Frequent travel to project locations (within Singapore)
Compensation
• S$4,500 – S$5,500/month (based on experience)

You’ll be part of deployment work where systems are being installed, tested, and brought online, including automation and control system integration in operational environments.
