Compensation & Work Arrangement
- RM 6,000 basic salary
- 2-4 months bonus paid twice yearly
- Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days a week office-based in central Kuala Lumpur (KL)

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for manual test coverage, validating system behavior, identifying edge cases, and ensuring release quality across complex business workflows.
- Translate business requirements into effective test strategies and scenarios.
- Perform functional, UAT, and regression testing.
- Act as the liaison between testing and product & engineering teams to identify root causes for defects.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and develop basic automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, with support for strategy and scripting.

Requirements
- Willingness to work hands-on in a primarily manual environment while supporting the transition to automation.
- Ability to work independently and drive digital transformation without relying on a large team or strict SOPs.
- Experience in fintech, tech companies, product companies, or digital transformation teams within enterprise/MNC environments. Experience in other highly regulated industries is also welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), including basic scripting.
- Exposure to API testing is a bonus.
- Ex-software engineers who have transitioned into testing/QA roles are encouraged to apply.
