The Role

As a Manager – IT Due Diligence, you will play a key role in delivering technology-focused engagements for strategic and financial sponsors.

You will lead IT Due Diligence and broader technology assessments across buy-side and sell-side transactions, while also supporting value creation initiatives through IT diagnostics. The role combines strong analytical capabilities with client interaction, project leadership, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver IT Due Diligence engagements for strategic and financial sponsors (buy-side and sell-side)
  • Assess IT landscapes, architecture, infrastructure, and applications, identifying risks and deal implications
  • Analyze technology-related costs, technical debt, scalability, and investment requirements
  • Conduct IT and broader technology diagnostics to support value creation initiatives across portfolio companies
  • Translate technical findings into clear commercial insights for investors and deal teams
  • Support pre-deal assessments and post-deal value creation planning
  • Contribute to client deliverables and presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Manage workstreams and junior team members across engagements
  • Support business development and the growth of Interpath’s IT Due Diligence capability

  • Proven experience in a consulting environment is required.
  • Strong experience in IT M&A, working with strategic and financial sponsors on both buy-side and sell-side engagements
  • Proven track record in IT and broader Technology Due Diligence
  • Experience delivering IT/Tech diagnostics for value creation (e.g., portfolio performance improvement, cost optimisation)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes and operating models
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business impact
  • Experience leading workstreams and managing stakeholders
  • Fluent French (native or fluent) and English required
