Senior Fortinet Security Engineer- 3 Months project - Dubai, UAE
About this role
We are looking for a Senior Fortinet Security Engineer with hands-on experience in FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager to support security compliance implementation across multiple retail outlets. The role involves centralized firewall management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage FortiGate Firewalls
- Configure and manage FortiAnalyzer for monitoring and reporting
- Manage centralized firewall administration using FortiManager
- Implement firewall policies, VPNs, security profiles, and access controls
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve network/security incidents
- Support compliance rollout and security standardization activities
- Coordinate with infrastructure and project teams during implementations
- Maintain documentation, reports, and operational procedures
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet Security solutions including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
- Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls
- Strong experience with FortiAnalyzer
- Mid-to-strong level experience with FortiManager
- Good understanding of enterprise network security
- Experience with firewall HA, policy management, VPNs, and logging
- Strong troubleshooting and implementation skills
- Experience in retail or enterprise environments is preferred
Preferred Certifications:
- Fortinet NSE Certifications are highly preferred
