The Role and Responsibilities

Assisting team members with setting up onsite mechanical pressure systems of liquid / air pressure systems including components of: pumps, hoses, generators, filters etc.

  • Setting up of calibrated equipment within mechanical pressure systems
  • Work under Leading Hands in all tasks, responsibilities, duties, work and projects as may be requested
  • Perform any administrative requirements including accurate completion of work timesheets, JHA’s, vehicle check sheets, equipment inventory lists or any other documentation as may be required in the role.
  • Follow EnerMech best practices and internal policies in relation to safety, fatigue, cleaning equipment, support equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, inventory control, client relations.
  • Upskilling and/or cross training
  • Retraining as required with equipment updates, changes and new release

To be considered for this role you will have experience in ANY of the following areas:

  • Pressure testing, chemical cleaning, flange management, high pressure blasting
  • Must have experience around mechanical equipment and items
  • Ability to react, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to accept new challenges
  • Strong focus on Teamwork and capable of working unsupervised
  • Positive and team-based attitude
  • Willingness to learn other industrial services such as leak sealing, hot tapping, chemical cleaning, pressure testing

Required skills and Tickets:

  • Use or Operate level HPWJ ticket - Essential
  • 3 site medical blue card (RTAY / QAL / BSL) - highly desirable
  • Current Driver License
  • Flange face machining experience (highly desirable)
  • Heavy vehicle licence (highly desirable)
  • High Risk Work licence, Forklift (highly desirable)
  • Construction Induction (White or Blue Card)
  • Working at Heights within 2 years is desirable
  • Confined Space Entry within 2 years is desirable
