Position Overview
Epicmetry is looking for a skilled Mobile Automation Engineer specializing in Appium to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the performance, functionality, and reliability of our mobile applications through effective automated testing. You will design and implement automated test scripts, ensuring a seamless user experience and high standards of quality in our mobile products.
- Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.
- Collaborate with developers and testing teams to identify testing requirements and develop effective test strategies.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to detect defects and performance issues.
- Integrate mobile test automation into CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment processes.
- Document test plans, procedures, and results, providing detailed feedback to the development team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process and tools.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in mobile testing and automation frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile test automation, with a focus on Appium.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with mobile application testing frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with API testing and performance testing tools is a plus.
