About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Business Analyst to join our growing Technology and Development team in a permanent, full time position. As a Digital Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging business and technology teams, gathering and translating requirements to support the delivery of digital initiatives for our self service channels. You will work closely with our delivery partner; as well as business stakeholders across customer management, marketing and technology to drive impactful outcomes.

You will have not only technical ability but extremely strong interpersonal skills and business process understanding. You are a proactive self-starter, comfortable with pressure coming from all angles at all times and you are able to maintain your cool. While the stakeholders are telling you what is important, you can read between the lines, consider the commercial objectives and make decisions that are good for the business in general. All of this while providing an outstanding stakeholder experience. 

This role is based in the iconic Bryant & May Building in Cremorne, with flexible working arrangements of 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for digital initiatives
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions across business and technology teams
• Synthesize information after workshops to share insights, ideas and find the right solutions
• Analyse user journeys, processes, and customer touchpoints to inform solution design
• Support the delivery of online, mobile and digital platform enhancements
• Assist with testing, validation, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys and digital experiences
• Create and maintain work items in JIRA and Confluence

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years delivering digital initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
• Strong understanding of digital platforms and online customer journeys
• Proactive and action-oriented with an ability to work independently as well as in  cross-functional teams
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with online collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Google Workspace
• Background in retail energy (preferred)
