Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• To work on the design, architecture and building of enterprise systems.
• To work on the building of tools, reports, and feeds to fulfil business requirements from the trading, operations, and risk teams of the company.
• To be responsible for software quality, efficiency, cost and operational resiliency.
• To actively participate in cross-company technology efforts to support various business and/or operational goals as needed.
• To work closely with the various Heads of Business lines and front-office trading team in the proper implementation and effective maintenance of various systems.

• At least 6 years of experience in a technical role.
• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree from a renowned university in a related field.
• AWS certification a distinct advantage.
• Ideal candidate will possess the following skillsets:
• Experience working in a cloud environment.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
• Software architecture and design.
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS or other major cloud platforms)
• Extensive Java experience is beneficial but not a requisite (ideally including Spring Boot).
