Position Overview
Madera Hospital is seeking a General Surgeon who is Board Certified or Board Eligible to join our expanding surgical team. This role offers the opportunity to serve a busy and growing patient population while playing a key part in strengthening. access to surgical care across Madera County.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality general surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in our Acute Care Surgery program serving Madera County and surrounding rural communities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and hospital initiatives
- Take part in shared call coverage as needed
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- California medical licenseytroyuh (or eligibility)
- Strong commitment to mission-driven, community-focused care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingual preferred
