We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Video Editor to join our team at D2B. In this remote role, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality podcast video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience.You will play a key role in enhancing the visual and audio quality of our podcast episodes, creating compelling short-form clips for social media, and ensuring each episode is polished, on-brand, and optimized for digital platforms. The ideal candidate has strong video editing skills, a keen eye for storytelling, and experience working with podcast-style or long-form content.

Position: Podcast Video Editor

Salary: PHP 45,000 - PHP 90,000/month

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 6:00AM to 3:00PM; full-time (remote)

Responsibilities:

        • Edit and produce long-form podcast episodes (45–90 mins), ensuring smooth audio-visual integration and engaging pacing.
        • Create short-form vertical cutdowns for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
        • Produce and optimize YouTube episodes, including pacing, titles, and light SEO/optimization.
        • Develop occasional trailers and promotional assets to support marketing campaigns.
        • Enhance audio quality through clean syncing, noise reduction, and basic balancing.
        • Add graphics, captions, transitions, and motion effects to create visually appealing content consistent with brand identity.
        • Collaborate with hosts, producers, and marketing teams to meet content goals and deadlines.
        • Maintain organized project files and archives for future edits.
        • Stay up to date with video editing trends, podcast best practices, and platform-specific optimizations.

Qualifications:

    • Proven experience editing long-form conversational content (podcasts, interviews, panels).
    • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (active subscription required); experience with After Effects is a plus for motion graphics.
    • Strong understanding of YouTube and short-form pacing.
    • Clean audio syncing and basic audio balancing skills.
    • Experience producing short-form content for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, or similar platforms.
    • Familiarity with startup, tech, VC, or business content is preferred.
    • Thumbnail creation or light design skills.
    • Reliable internet and ability to meet weekly deadlines.
    • Available full-time (40 hours/week), remote.
    • Experience handling Australian or New Zealand clients/employers is an advantage.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Portfolio required: Must include examples of both long-form podcast/video episodes and short-form social media cutdowns.
