POSITION GOAL:

To assist the Materials Department to World Class. This position is responsible for the administration of material receiving stations to shop floor and all Point of Use locations. The Materials Administrator will improve the departments and themselves through training and continuing education.

Temporary 3-month Position

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

1.     Responsible for receiving and processing material to POU location by required date.

2.     Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and achieving inventory goals.

3.     Ensure all aspects of the MRP process are followed.

4.     Assists with MRP, work MRP messages.

5.     Assist in the monitoring and measurements to meet all materials goals.

6.     Monitoring and maintaining the accuracy of Live Bus records.

7.     Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing and 5's programs for materials and engage the 5P's (prior planning prevents poor performance).

8.     Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the data in the systems as well as measurements of all areas in materials.

9.     Transacting all inventory adjustments and continually improving and driving the reduction of inventory adjustments.

10.   Responsible for discrete job accuracy; maintaining accuracy of data requirements and reject requirements.

11.   Responsible for updating the uncontrollable items - with lists- Daily, weekly, monthly counts using proper forms and following the uncontrollable parts process.

12.   Provide assistance in the reduction of obsolete inventory to zero, drive past due demand to zero, monitor, maintaining sub-inventories.

13.   Provide assistance with ISO procedures and work instructions.

14.   Administers analysis in the following key areas: monitor and reduce obsolete to zero, ensure driving Past Due demands to zero, monitor and reduce negatives to zero.

15.   Monitor to meet goal expectations with the following: UORS, variance, and maintain in- transit within 24 hours with a work here list and work ASBN list. 

16.   Maintain material in STAGING REC 99 (material with no default locator) within 24 hours.

17.   Responsible for all receiving functions including working cross functionally with Finance, Purchasing, Internal Audit, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and all other related departments to achieve departmental goals.

18.   Assist the materials team and leadership in achieving the budget in materials, supplies, salary/indirect labor, overtime and operational expenses.

19.   Ensuring compliance to ISO procedures, work instructions, 5P's to promote continuous improvement within the department.

20.   Reconcile material issues and define root cause of any material variances.

21.   Assist the Retro line with all material issues, completion of all bill of lading (BOL) paperwork process.

22.   Responsible for putting work order packages together for delivery, supplying line prints to production line on a timely basis, creating verification production books and maintaining data on IBUS.

23.   Uploading of ECO exploder daily and publishing daily past due measurements.

Responsible to work all error lists associated with receiving and transfer demands beyond original facility.

Pay: 30.93/ hr
