Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring the highest levels of quality and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and safety standards.
- Manage the annual budget and capital expenditure plans for the engineering and maintenance department.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of the resort's infrastructure and equipment.
- Manage all vendor contracts and relationships to ensure the highest standards of service.
- Ensure that all guest requests and issues related to engineering and maintenance are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Open only to Indonesian Citizens.
- Experience at least 5 years solid experience in Engineering in the hospitality industry and must have experience as Director of Engineering, preferably of a large operation of more than 500 rooms and villas, residential building, multi F&B outlets, multi-pools, a wide landscaping area, and a large spa operation in a luxury resort environment.
- Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership skills with an acute sense of good judgment and critical thinking.
- Excellent organization skills, analytical skills, tact, strong follow-up skills, and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
- Good knowledge of project construction and direct experience would be an advantage.
- Has the ability to analyze financial data, budgeting, and cost calculation for an effective return on investment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required. Master's degree is desirable.
