About this role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s online presence with creativity, data-driven insights, and a passion for sports. This role requires hands-on expertise in managing Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, staying ahead of trends, and engaging with a highly active sports audience. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who can manage teams, build influencer collaborations, and drive impactful digital strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and audience behaviour to craft instant, impactful content strategies.
  • Oversee and optimize brand presence across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube with platform-specific approaches.
  • Manage social media teams by providing leadership, direction, and ensuring execution aligns with the brand’s vision.

Content & Community Management

  • Lead the content planning and creation process, ensuring a mix of engaging, promotional, and community-driven content.
  • Oversee real-time engagement and community interaction, fostering a strong and loyal digital audience.
  • Implement an always-on approach for daily social media activity, ensuring timely responses and trend participation.
  • Ensure high-quality multimedia execution (videos, graphics, reels, and UGC integration) to enhance brand storytelling.

Influencer & Partnership Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage influencer relationships to amplify brand visibility.
  • Develop and maintain strategic collaborations with athletes, sports influencers, and industry personalities.
  • Oversee influencer-led campaigns, ensuring measurable impact and ROI tracking.

Performance & Data Analytics

  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track key metrics and optimize content strategies.
  • Generate performance reports to evaluate campaign success and audience engagement.
  • Apply data-driven insights to adjust posting schedules, content formats, and engagement techniques.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with paid media, content, and design teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Align with email marketing teams to integrate social strategies into broader digital campaigns.
  • Coordinate with website teams to maintain banners, tickers, and digital brand consistency.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management, with a leadership role in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Experience in sports, fitness, or entertainment industries is a plus.
  • BBA/MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in influencer marketing, content strategy, and audience growth tactics.

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • E-commerce / Retail – Managing consumer product branding and digital campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Sports / Fitness / Apparel – Engaging niche audiences through digital storytelling, influencer partnerships, and performance-driven campaigns.
  • Technology / SaaS / AI – Enhancing online brand perception, driving digital adoption, and leveraging data-driven marketing strategies.
  • FMCG / CPG – Creating high-impact branding and marketing strategies to build strong customer loyalty and market presence.
  • Bedding / Interior Design / Furniture – Showcasing lifestyle branding, visual storytelling, and immersive digital experiences to influence purchase decisions.
  • Real Estate – Developing brand credibility, engaging potential buyers through digital platforms, and optimizing lead generation strategies.
