About our clinic:
We’re a busy CA clinic with plans to grow. We’re looking for someone who can jump right in, and who wants to be a part of a community.
When our clients leave reviews about us, they rave about three things,
- The care we show them and their pets
- Our professionalism
- Our approachable and friendly team
That’s really the heart of our approach - we’re all about the personal touch and maintaining a great relationship with our clients.
While we are a relatively small clinic, we’re part of the Totally Vets group. This means we have considerable expertise on tap, both in clinical expertise and business support. Our team of specialists and senior vets are very passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise.
We strongly encourage our vets to take every opportunity to meet and collaborate with each other. Our Ōtaki team works very closely with our Levin-based clinic, so you’ll have a lot of close support just up the road whenever you need it.
There may be a requirement to join the Saturday roster, however no afterhours duty is expected.
About Ōtaki:
People move to Ōtaki for the lifestyle. The beach is five minutes away, and the vibe is very much laid-back and community orientated. Otaki is an ideal place for a young family, with good schools, quality daycare, affordable housing and a peaceful lifestyle that is hard to find elsewhere. If you’re an outdoors type (or are keen to be!) Ōtaki is fantastic for walks/tramping, fishing and horse trekking.
While Ōtaki is a rural town, we have an incredible range of amenities right on our doorstep! The Kapiti Coast is 25 minutes drive away, and in addition to the stunning beaches - you’ve got restaurants, bars, cafes, craft breweries and bakeries.
Wellington is also on our doorstep, driving from Ōtaki you can be in the heart of the CBD in just over an hour.
Please apply with your CV and cover letter.
