Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage contract administration, ensuring all contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and mitigating risks related to contract execution.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve contract disputes or issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive contract records and documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on contract matters to internal teams and senior management.
- Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure contract compliance.
- Support procurement activities and contribute to the development of contract management processes and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager, preferably within construction, engineering, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, negotiation tactics, and contract administration procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and negotiation.
- Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CCM) is an advantage.
