Aureol Global Connections is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to oversee and promote safety practices across all projects and operations. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety performance, incidents, and training activities.
- Collaborate with management and project teams to promote a culture of safety.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment on site.
- Stay informed about changes to safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role, preferably in construction or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and training abilities.
- Certification in safety training courses such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
