We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong focus on crafting high-quality user stories and leading robust user acceptance testing (UAT) processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can bridge business needs with technical execution, ensuring that delivered products align precisely with user expectations and business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in defining product requirements, validating deliverables, and driving continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clear, concise, and actionable user stories that effectively communicate product requirements to engineering and design teams.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, designers, and developers, to gather and refine product requirements.
- Define detailed acceptance criteria for each user story to ensure alignment on expected outcomes and functionality.
- Own and manage the end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, ensuring product features meet defined requirements before release.
- Design, document, and execute comprehensive acceptance test cases based on business and user needs.
- Facilitate UAT sessions with stakeholders, capture feedback, and drive issue resolution in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Prioritize product backlog items based on business impact, user value, and technical feasibility.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, user stories, and acceptance tests.
- Continuously improve product quality by identifying gaps in requirements and refining acceptance testing processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product validation and sign-off before production releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5โ15 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or related roles.
- Proven expertise in writing effective user stories using frameworks such as INVEST and Agile best practices.
- Strong experience in defining and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Acceptance Testing methodologies.
- Ability to create detailed acceptance criteria and test scenarios that cover functional and edge cases.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into simple, actionable items.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar product management and testing platforms.
- Experience in coordinating releases and ensuring product readiness from a user and business perspective.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in software development or QA/testing is a plus.
- Experience working on complex enterprise products or SaaS platforms.
- Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management is desirable.
