Developer - SmartCOMM

We’re seeking skilled Customer Communication Management (CCM) Developers across Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney to join large‑scale, multi‑year transformation program modernising customer communications across enterprise platforms. This work impacts millions of customer interactions each year and sits on a committed strategic roadmap, offering long‑term engagement, continuous innovation, and the opportunity to solve highly complex problems.

In this role, you’ll design and develop dynamic document templates and business forms, integrate SmartCOMM with multiple systems, and tackle challenging content and API requirements in a fast‑paced consultancy environment. You’ll work both independently and alongside a highly energetic, collaborative team, delivering high‑quality solutions that make a real impact. This is a hands‑on role for problem‑solvers who thrive in complex technical landscapes and enjoy turning sophisticated requirements into exceptional customer communication experiences.

What you bring

You'll have proven ability in:

• SmartCOMM development (at least 3 years' experience)
• SmartCOMM certification and practical delivery experience is a must
• Designing and developing documents and business form templates
• Developing and debugging dynamic content, responsive design, scripting and other integration challenges including REST APIs
• Strong programming abilities and web development skills
• Experience in SmartCOMM communication design, development, deployment and support

It’s important you have a minimum of three years’ experience in a consultancy, a strong background in application development, and the ability to work independently. You’ll also be skilled in documentation and confident in estimating tasks and delivering work in line with those estimates.

You should have the ability to design end-to-end solutions, with hands-on experience in complex environments. SmartCOMM certification and hands-on delivery experience are mandatory, along with Agile experience and strong facilitation and communication skills.
