BPM Technical Architecture Lead

Tenzing is one of the leading BPM providers in the region, working with some of the most well-known clients in Insurance, Banking, Public Sector and Commercial Services in our region.  To further enable this growth, we are looking for an experienced BPM Technical Architecture Leader to drive our Business Process Management (BPM) practice. Our BPM team works very closely with our Guidewire, Information and Document Management, Data Management and Consulting Services teams often involving them as part of our BPM services. This is a senior role with genuine strategic influence, and the mandate to shape the future direction and capability of BPM delivery at Tenzing.

We are seeking someone with deep Appian expertise, strong technical leadership, and the ability to grow, guide, and inspire a high‑performing technical team. You will be comfortable working with a very experienced IT consulting Tenzing executive team, as well as business and technical executives from within our clients.  We want someone who can help ask the right questions of our business clients and using your deep technical BPM capabilities design and build innovative solutions that you can credibly discuss with our clients. 

This role is ideal for a high‑performing leader currently operating at a senior level, with outstanding architectural capability, proven delivery leadership, and the confidence to shape a practice that is growing rapidly in both scale and strategic importance.

What you will do:

• Lead Tenzing’s BPM technical delivery practice, setting the vision, governance, and technical standards.
• Develop team capability through mentoring, cross‑training, and structured certification pathways.
• Architect and oversee enterprise‑scale BPM solutions (primarily on Appian), ensuring quality design, reusable patterns, and alignment with Agile delivery.
• Define secure, scalable integration architectures across ERP, CRM, data, APIs, and microservices while translating complex processes into streamlined automation.
• Play a pivotal role in adopting and driving the latest technology advancements in Business Orchestration, Technology (BOAT) and AI.
• Represent the BPM practice in pre‑sales and early‑stage engagements, influencing solution strategy, differentiating our capability, and supporting the growth of the BPM portfolio.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to guide discovery, solution design, technical strategy, and represent the BPM practice across governance and client forums.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 10+ years’ experience in BPM architecture and enterprise‑scale solution delivery, with a proven track record across complex transformation environments.
• Deep, hands‑on Appian expertise and other BPM platforms - this is essential and forms the core of your technical leadership.
• Strong leadership experience delivering large, complex BPM or workflow solutions, with the ability to guide technical direction and uplift delivery teams.
• Breadth across modern engineering practices, including integration patterns, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and BPMN process modelling.
• Exceptional people leadership, with the ability to mentor, grow, and build confidence and capability across technical teams.
• Clear and confident communication skills, able to simplify complex technical concepts for senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and calm, credible leadership, particularly in high‑pressure or fast‑moving delivery environments.
• A solid grounding in Agile delivery, ensuring alignment between architecture, iterative delivery, and engineering best practice.
