About the role:
We are seeking Intermediate and Senior Guidewire Developers to join our delivery teams across Australia and New Zealand.
You’ll bring strong, hands‑on Guidewire expertise, supported by relevant Guidewire Cloud certifications across one or more core products. You’ll work closely with clients and cross‑functional teams to design, build, and deliver high‑quality Guidewire solutions that meet real business needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, configure, customise, and unit test Guidewire solutions across core products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) and associated cloud services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, architects, QA, and fellow developers to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using Integration Gateway and standard integration patterns (REST, SOAP, messaging, file‑based).
- Ensure solutions adhere to Guidewire best practices, architectural standards, and cloud deployment guidelines
Conduct code reviews and contribute to high standards of code quality, performance, security, and test coverage. - Mentor and support junior developers, contributing to team capability uplift and knowledge sharing
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including DevOps practices, automation, and development optimisation.
Technical Skills & Experience:
You will have strong experience across much of the Guidewire ecosystem, including:
- Gosu and Java development
- GUnit testing
- PCFs, rules, messaging, and xCenter administration concepts
- Guidewire Studio, App Events, and Integration Gateway
- SOAP and REST web services
- Guidewire Cloud tooling and environments
- CI/CD and observability tools such as Git, Bitbucket, pull requests, TeamCity, Datadog (or equivalent)
