About this role

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager III to support major terminal modernization and capital improvement projects at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

*Salary Range: $175K/Year-$190K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities for major airport improvement projects
  • Coordinate with contractors, designers, consultants, and airport stakeholders
  • Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety performance
  • Review construction plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Support project planning, phasing, commissioning, testing, and turnover activities
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and project coordination efforts
  • Identify project risks and develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget goals
  • Monitor contractor performance and construction progress
  • Assist with the resolution of field issues and construction challenges
  • Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to leadership teams
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and collaboration

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of construction management experience
  • Experience managing large-scale construction projects in active operating environments
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and contractors
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Airport, aviation, transportation, or other large public infrastructure project experience
  • Experience supporting projects valued at $100 million or greater
  • Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CMAR delivery methods
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus
