As our Business Development Manager – Asia, you’ll drive MedTech World’s growth across the region, anchored by our flagship event in Asia in Q3 of 2026. You’ll lead the charge in building strategic relationships, securing partnerships, and positioning MedTech World as Asia’s go-to platform for MedTech and HealthTech innovation.

Working closely with our CEO, you’ll connect Asia’s thriving healthcare ecosystem — and the wider Asian and GCC markets — to MedTech World’s global network. Your role will be pivotal in shaping a high-impact calendar of events, collaborations, and initiatives that attract investment, foster innovation, and elevate Hong Kong’s position on the global MedTech stage.


What You'll Do

  • Lead Asian market growth – Identify and pursue sponsorship, partnership, and governmental engagement opportunities across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, China, and other high-growth markets in the region.
  • Drive MedTech World Asia 2026 success – Develop and execute business strategies to maximise participation, sponsorship, and international exposure for our flagship Asian summit.
  • Build regional relationships – Engage with hospitals, healthcare leaders, investors, startups, service providers, and industry regulators across Asia to grow MedTech World’s influence.
  • Tailor proposals – Create compelling, value-driven sponsorship packages and collaboration pitches that resonate with Asian stakeholders, from corporates to government agencies.
  • Act as the face of MedTech World in the region – Represent us at key Asian industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
  • Monitor trends – Keep a finger on the pulse of healthcare, MedTech, and digital health developments in Asia, reporting actionable insights back to the team.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – From prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience for Asian partners and clients.


What You'll need to Bring

  • Proven success in business development, sales, or partnerships within Asian markets.
  • Strong network and cultural understanding of Hong Kong and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
  • Experience in MedTech, HealthTech, digital healthcare, or a related sector is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus).
  • Ability to thrive independently while collaborating with a global team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Asia.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
