ABA Practitioner 2 / Learning Intervention Specialist II

About the role

The Children's Institute of Hong Kong Limited is seeking an ABA Practitioner to join our team in the Southern District. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in providing individualised support and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teenagers with neurodiverse needs.

What you'll be doing

• Work directly with neurodiverse students on a one-to-one, two-to-one basis, or small group teaching
• Implement individualised programs designed by BCBAs
• Provide behavioural, social, and/ or academic support to neurodiverse students in mainstream school setting
• Prepare teaching materials and differentiation of lesson plans, data collection, report to parents and supervisors
• Closely monitoring each student's progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, teachers, and family members to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's development
• Maintaining detailed records and progress reports for each student
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training to continuously improve your expertise

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Psychology, special education, or a related field
• Preferred working experience in supporting neurodiverse needs students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and the professional team
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient, adaptable approach to supporting each student's unique needs
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with neurodiverse needs
