About this role
Voyago is currently recruiting to fill existing Full-Time Transit Dispatcher in London, Ontario!
Your Role
- You schedule new bookings and coordinate with drivers regarding changes
- You utilize the radio to communicate effectively with all drivers on route drivers
- You ensure all drivers active on routes are on time to maintain customer satisfaction
- You manage and pull a variety of reports as per the managers directive
- You answer phones, and email correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
- You take responsibility for the Emergency Response Plan in the event of a serious collision
- You manage and assist with scheduling vehicle maintenance as required
Hourly Wage: $19.50 per hour
Your Profile:
- You have dispatch experience within the transportation or service industry
- You are comfortable using the radio to listen and communicate effectively with all drivers.
- You have superior time management and communication skills
- You are highly organized and able to multitask
- Physically capable of climbing stairs
- You can take initiative to solve problems and search out the data needed to do so
- You are proficient in computer software with experience in MS Office (Word & Excel)
- You have excellent customer service experience
- You have a clean criminal record search
- You have sound geographic knowledge of surrounding area (London)
- You are available to work the following full-time rotating afternoon shifts (2:00PM - 1:00AM)
- week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
- week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
