Assist with research in INBRE including lab work, data analysis, and collaboration with other researchers. Ideal for students pursuing science or health-related careers with an interest in lab techniques and critical thinking.
Responsibilities and Career Competencies:
- Assist with laboratory research, experiments, and data collection under the guidance of a mentor – CT, C, P, T
- Learn and apply techniques within the lab T, CSD
- Participate in research meetings and present findings to the team – C, CT, CSD
- Collaborate with other researchers and research staff on interdisciplinary projects – TW, C, L
- Conduct literature reviews to support research findings and hypotheses – CT, CSD
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks and records – CSD, P
- Follow all safety guidelines and lab protocols to ensure a safe environment – P, CSD
- Use data analysis tools to interpret results and contribute to research development – T, CT, CSD
- Engage in self-directed learning and apply constructive feedback – CSD, P

Work Conditions: Regular lab, might involve Light machinery, odors, or humidity
Physical Demands: Lifting, handling lab equipment, and prolonged keyboarding.
