You will connect with prospective customers by phone, understand their needs, and convert enquiries into sales — all while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products and services
- Handle inbound sales enquiries and guide customers through the buying process
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly basis
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and engaging communication
- Accurately capture and update customer information in the CRM system
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and pipeline opportunities in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and refine pitching strategies
- Handle objections confidently and professionally to close sales
Requirements
- Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, engaging phone manner
- Strong ability to listen, identify customer needs, and tailor your pitch accordingly
- Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a high-volume call environment
- Good computer literacy and experience using a CRM system (advantageous)
- Matric certificate required; a relevant sales or marketing qualification is a plus
- Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage
