Salesforce CRM Engineer (Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo - Brazil only)

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Engineer to join the team. This role is responsible for optimizing the development practices and developing features in the platform that align with business requirements and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and development best practices, as well as experience integrating Salesforce with other systems.

Location: [Hybrid, 2 times per week at the office, Sao Paulo only]

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as an experienced practitioner with the Salesforce platform, while balancing the capabilities of Salesforce with the possibilities of custom and open-source development. 

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into well-architected solutions that may span multiple systems (Salesforce, custom microservices, AI platforms, etc.). 

• Develop a long-term strategic roadmap for our CRM ecosystem, including plans for simplification, integration, and innovation. 

• Design and oversee the implementation of agentic workflows and AI-driven experiences for Sales and Service users, identifying the best technology to host these capabilities. 

• Create high-level solution designs, integration patterns, and data models for both Salesforce centric and custom-built projects. 

• Govern the overall architecture of the CRM landscape, ensuring all new solutions are scalable, secure, and align with Bayer standards. 

• Collaborate with other engineers, promoting a culture of thoughtful solutioning and engineering excellence. 

Required Qualifications: 

• 6 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 2 years in a senior role. 

• Experience with the Salesforce platform including architecture, capabilities, and limitations. 

• Proven experience designing and building scalable, cloud-native applications using modern technologies (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices). 

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API-led connectivity. 

• Experience evaluating and integrating various technologies, including SaaS, and open-source software. 

• Bachelor's in computer science or a related engineering discipline. 

• Exceptional ability to think strategically and make principled, data-driven decisions about technology. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Salesforce Certification or equivalent demonstrated experience. 

• Experience with modern data platforms. 

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts, large language models (LLMs), or agentic workflow frameworks. 

• Knowledge of one or more open-source CRM platforms.
