As our next Digital Biomarkers Operations and Process Specialist, you will contribute to solving meaningful challenges across the life sciences industry. About the role 


As a Digital Biomarkers Operations and Process Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting digital health and clinical technology operations within complex clinical research environments. You will be responsible for managing operational processes related to digital devices and applications used in clinical studies, ensuring efficient demand planning, logistics coordination, financial reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Working closely with project managers, operational teams, and stakeholders across global organizations, you will help drive operational excellence and support the successful deployment and management of digital technologies that contribute to better healthcare outcomes.

Your Responsibilities


Demand Management

  • Own, drive, and maintain the demand management process for the study portfolio in alignment with project managers and operational stakeholders.
  • Coordinate demand review meetings and prepare supporting presentations and reporting.
  • Provide recommendations for inventory optimization and stock management activities.
  • Maintain monthly and weekly planning activities, including the creation and management of Jira tickets and production orders.

Application and Device Lifecycle Management

  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle management of applications and digital devices deployed in clinical research programs.
  • Coordinate operational activities related to device provisioning, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.

Financial Reporting

  • Support monthly cost reporting activities related to hardware, workforce, logistics, and shipment/return costs.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources and support study-level cost allocation and chargeback processes.

Process and Tool Ownership

  • Own and maintain operational workflows within Jira and supporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, formulas, and macros to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure processes are documented, standardized, and continuously optimized.

Knowledge Management

  • Create, maintain, and improve operational documentation and knowledge base content.
  • Ensure documentation remains current, accurate, and accessible to stakeholders.

Purchasing Support

  • Support procurement and purchasing activities related to digital device operations and associated services.

Device Returns and Logistics Operations

  • Own the end-to-end device return process.
  • Coordinate and perform operational activities including device receipt, inspection, cleaning, preparation, inventory management, and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify, propose, and implement process improvements across digital device operations.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives and support innovation opportunities.


You Bring

  • University degree in a technical field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in IT Operations, Application Management, or a related operational role.
  • Proven ability to work independently and coordinate execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced expertise in data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet-based solutions.
  • Strong planning, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
  • Experience supporting mobile application deployment and operational lifecycles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior stakeholders in cross-functional and global organizations.
  • Experience providing second- or third-level technical support.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
  • Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements within regulated environments.
  • Strong interest in digital health technologies, mobile applications, and wearable devices.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.


Nice to Have

  • Experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, or Life Sciences sectors.
  • Experience supporting clinical development or clinical research projects.
  • Familiarity with Computer Systems Validation (CSV), quality systems, and change management processes.
  • Spanish language proficiency is considered an advantage.
